We offer a variety of yoga classes in our unique space in the heart of the CBD. Our vision is to bring yoga to you, ensuring you can make a quick, seamless escape for an hour of yoga bliss - morning, noon and night. Our qualified teaching team always encourages safety first in your yoga practise, and are on hand to help with anything you may need.

How we do it

At Yoga Corner we strive to make our classes accessible and enjoyable to all– from complete beginners to long time practising yogis – your practice will be supported by our highly qualified and energetic teaching team.

Our facilities include custom built showers and changing rooms onsite to ensure you can rinse off all your hard work quickly and head back out into your day feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and energised after your practise.

The Yoga Corner studio is enhanced with a state of the art FIR heating system, technology that has been used in saunas in Scandinavia for over 30 years, and has won multiple awards for it's eco friendly output.

We heat the studio to 37C for our  'Hot Yoga' and 'Hot Yoga +' classes, to help you sweat, detoxify and deepen your practise, challenging you in a different way each time you step onto your mat. 'Vinyasa Flow' yoga is practiced at 27C as the style is a faster pace than our 'Hot' yoga classes, endeavouring to link breath with movement in a powerful, flowing style designed to increase the flow of prana (energy) through the body. Our 'Yin Yoga' classes are kept at a temperate 27C to keep you cosy whilst exploring longer, deeper, passively held poses - a wonderful compliment to more strenuous exercise.

Why Hot Yoga?

Practising yoga in a heated environment assists the muscles to warm up more quickly, allowing deeper range in postures, and therefore increasing the function of our internal health. The heat encourages perspiration, aids in the elimination process of toxins through the body, and balances hormones, helping you to feel happy, open, and energised each time you practise.  

Yoga in the heat increases cardiovascular activity and encourages fresh oxygenated blood and nutrients to circulate through the body, without the strain on the joints that impact based exercise can induce. 

The roots of Hot Yoga are derived from India and are most commonly associated with 'Bikram Yoga', which is a particular style of practise. The style we practice at Yoga Corner is a combination of different Hatha yoga and Vinyasa yoga styles.
