This 90-minute workshop is designed for yoga teachers and students who want to make their practice or teaching more accessible and inclusive.
Whether you're looking to expand your teaching toolkit or deepen your personal practice, this session will guide you through practical and compassionate approaches to adapting yoga for every body.
What we’ll cover:
How to use props to support and enhance your practice
Incorporating accessible language in cueing
Learning to listen to your body and adapt shapes to meet your needs
Exploring modifications for a variety of poses

About Your Teacher - JESS IVERS
Jess first began practicing yoga to manage anxiety and get out of her comfort zone after moving to the city she now calls home, Melbourne.
A classic yogi story, she fell in love and hasn't looked back. Jess completed her 200hr Vinyasa training in 2017 in Ubud, Bali, and followed up with another 200hr trauma-informed Hatha training in 2019. Upskilling during the pandemic, Jess completed her Chair Yoga teacher training online, wanted to learn how to make yoga more accessible for all.
After many years of personal practice, Jess loves teaching in an invitational, mindful, yet challenging way. See you on the mat!
