This 90-minute explorative workshop with trauma-informed yoga teacher, Madeleine Bong, is for those who are curious to understand why self-love is difficult and how we can begin to dive deeper using the practices of Yoga. Madeleine will be holding a safe space to discuss why this journey has its ups and downs as well as sprinkling Yoga practices to explore what allows you to feel compassion and connection to your Highest Power.
Madeleine's intention is to normalise and honour the complexity of this journey and to support you on your exploration.
Self-love and care have been the hottest topics in today's modern society. However, what we, as a culture, are failing to do is discuss the roots of our blockages that prevent or slow down our journey of self-love. Through understanding and accepting our limitations we then can begin to move through and align with what simply makes us feel good.
Luckily, the great Sages have blessed us with wonderful tools, specifically meditation and Satsang (sacred gathering) that allow us to look deep into the subtle body and subconscious mind. These practices allow us to shed Avidya (ignorance) and seek true bliss. This is your birthright.
