Join Amy in a journey exploring how yogic philosophy can guide us to realise our full potential way beyond the four corners of the yoga mats…

“We don’t sit in meditation to become good meditators. We sit in meditation so that we’ll become more awake in our lives.” Pema Chodron

Navigating Uncertainty, Trust + Inviting Abundance

with Amy Leonard-King

When: Sunday 27th September

Time: 10am - 11:30am

Where: Online via Zoom

Investment: $35

You’ve felt the calling, and you know that there is something magical happening each time that you step onto the yoga mat, or to sit in meditation. Maybe the feelings even stay with you a bit into your day, or store as memories that you call upon at moments seemingly far in time and space away from when they occurred. And perhaps the thought has come up as to what really sits behind all of this moving and breathing and stillness? And how might I come to a place where I am living more fully ‘in it’ in my life…?

“Each individual person perceives the same object in a different way, according to their own state of mind and projections. Everything is empty from its own side and appears according to how you see it.” Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra IV.15

As we find ourselves in these ‘unprecedented’ + ‘uncertain’ times, how are we to possibly find peace with the state of the world and our lives within it? How are we to manage the inevitable feelings of uncertainty, trust that this is exactly what we are meant to be going through in this moment, and learn to look through the lens of abundance, rather than succumb to the crippling fear and insecurity that comes with ‘not knowing’?

In this 90 minute workshop with Amy, begin to uncover the wisdom that lies behind the ancient philosophical system of yoga through physical and energetic practices, as well as philosophical enquiry, and modern life applications, including:

  • Exploration and study of the ancient text: The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali

  • Asana practice sensing into subtle energy, focussed intention and opening your mind and heart to ‘seeing’ the abundance that is all around you

  • Meditation practices to invite the energies of trust and surrender

  • Journalling to uncover what your true abundance looks like; and

  • Practices and rituals to take away with you and invite into your life

“Having everything is just an expression of complete inner freedom.” ~ Deepak Chopra
