You could hardly be blamed for feeling like everything is on hold at the moment.
Perhaps you can’t shake the feeling that you’re living out an alternate version of your life, wishing you could just fast forward to a time where you can pick up where you left off.
But your life isn’t on pause. As challenging as it may be for so many of us right now, this time of your life is just as meaningful as any other… with each moment to be revered both for its beauty and its potential to propel your spiritual [re]awakening.
You’re invited to join our beloved teacher Lydia Richards for this very special 90-minute online workshop-style practice, to help move you to a place of wistful surrender and live more fully in the here and now.
Think of this as a sacred restart, a pause to ‘unpause’.
A reminder that your life is happening now, not sometime later in the future.
Restorative yoga combined with yoga nidra and crystal sound bowls, mantra, satsang and pranayama will comprise this fully integrated practice, invoking the essence of grace and easefulness.
With Lydia’s guidance, you will embody conscious presence in mind, body and spirit, explore meeting adversity with light, and hopefully develop a clearer perspective on your life, just as it is now.
What can I expect?
A gorgeous 90-minute practice lovingly guided online from Lydia’s home (yoga room!) into the privacy of yours
A very accessible, mostly floor-based restorative yoga practice for all levels and bodies (including mammas to be!), finishing with a guided lying meditation (Love note: You can lie on your side if lying for long periods on your back is challenging for you)
Gentle yogic breathing practices to help both revitalise and relax your system, and beautiful mantra delivered with the harmonium in song that you’re welcome to join in on or simply soak up
Afterwards, to feel more awake and more attuned to your unfolding life, just as it is
What will I need?
A device (smartphone, tablet or computer) with a reliable internet connection
A clear space in which to practice
Gentle musical soundtrack (optional). If you are going to play music

A yoga block (or thick book)

HOW DO I JOIN?
After paying in full, you will receive via email a link to join via Zoom no earlier than 1 hour prior to the commencement of the practice. Lydia will join 15 minutes early, to share with you over a warm cup of something before officially opening the practice. The investment for this immersive, 90-minute practice is $20, or $35 if you leave it to chance and book ‘on the day’, Friday 4th September.

ABOUT YOUR TEACHER, LYDIA RICHARDS
Lydia is a long-time member of our teaching team. Passionate about yogic practices to help students drop back into the sanctuary of their heart, Lydia’s guidance is nurturing, authentic and not to be missed. She has trained extensively in the teachings of restorative yoga and considers herself a devotee of the bhakti yoga path.
